～こぐま幼稚園。「子どもが子どもらしく生き生きと輝き、学ぶ場所」～
子ども達は好奇心のかたまりです。子どもは、自ら学ぼうとする力、考える力、感じる力を持っています。大人の価値観や主観で教えるという一方的な教育ではなく、子どもの見える世界、感じる心を大切にした子ども主体の教育を行っています。
～こぐま幼稚園。「子ども一人ひとりの個性が伸びる場所」～
同じ年齢、月齢の子ども達であっても、子どもの発達はそれぞれに違います。１０人いれば１０通りの発達があります。緩やかな山を登りながら少しずつ発達をする子もいれば、平坦な道をしばらく歩いていたかと思うと急に山のてっぺんを目指してとんとんと駆け上がっていく子もいます。休憩所でしばらくエネルギーを補給している子もいます。こぐま組では、集団、年齢の枠にとらわれず、個人の発達過程に寄り添いながら、子ども一人ひとりの個性＜その子らしさ＞を伸ばす教育を行っています。

Children are naturally curious. They have the power to learn, think and feel. Rather than one-sided education that teaches with the values and subjectivity of adults, we provide child-centered education that values the world that children can see and the emotions that they feel.
~ Koguma Preschool. “A place where each child’s individuality grows” ~
Each child develops differently. Some children may develop little by little, similar to climbing a gentle mountain. Others may seem to be stalling, then all of the sudden have a learning growth spurt leading them to run up the mountain. Some children are taking a break before trying to climb the same mountain. At Koguma Preschool, all students learn together, regardless of their differences in development. We provide education that will develop each child’s individuality.

“I love Koguma Preschool!” When our students say this, it fills our hearts with joy. We strive to create an environment that is kind and affectionate for our students. At Koguma, we hope that through our teaching, we can encourage and inspire our students to become well rounded children who demonstrate these values.
